World Environment Day 2026 ll Malda District Police

World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Malda District Police Lines through a tree plantation drive and sit-and-draw competition to promote environmental awareness among children and police personnel. 

Shri Anupam Singh (IPS)Superintendent of Police, Malda, along with senior officers, planted saplings as part of the programme. More than 60 children aged 3–15 years participated, expressing their vision of a greener future through artwork.

The programme concluded with the message of a “Green World”, inspiring everyone to protect nature and build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. Under initiatives like “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, let us all work together for a greener tomorrow.
