৩.০৮৩ কেজি ব্রাউন সুগার উদ্ধার || ০৪ জন গ্রেফতার || মালদা জেলা পুলিশ

২৩.০৭.২০২৬ তারিখে গাজোল থানায় ব্রাউন সুগার (হেরোইন) কেনাবেচা সংক্রান্ত একটি গোপন সূত্রের খবর পাওয়া যায়। সেই তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে গাজোল থানার পুলিশ শিক্ষকপল্লী গ্রামের একটি ভাড়া বাড়িতে অভিযান চালিয়ে চারজনকে আটক করে।

গ্রেফতার হওয়া ব্যক্তিরা হলেন—

১. চৈতন সিং (২২), পিতা – সুরেন সিং

২. সস্তি সিং (২৯), পিতা – সুরেন সিং

৩. পিন্টু কুমার সিং (৩১), পিতা – সুরেন সিং

(উপরের তিনজনের বাড়ি – চিলামারা, ফারাক্কা, মুর্শিদাবাদ)

৪. সোনু কুমার (২৩), পিতা – হরিলাল রাম, বাড়ি – গোসালাচক বেলহাঘাট, মধেপুরা, বিহার।

তল্লাশি চালিয়ে তাদের কাছ থেকে পুলিশ ৩.০৮৩ কেজি ব্রাউন সুগার (হেরোইন) উদ্ধার ও বাজেয়াপ্ত করে।

চারজনকেই গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় গাজোল থানায় প্রাসঙ্গিক আইনে একটি নির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজু করা হয়েছে। তদন্তের স্বার্থে অভিযুক্তদের পুলিশ হেফাজতে নেওয়া হয়েছে।

মালদা জেলা পুলিশ সকল ধরনের অপরাধের বিরুদ্ধে শূন্য সহনশীলতার নীতি অনুসরণ করে জেলার আইন-শৃঙ্খলা ও সাধারণ মানুষের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে বদ্ধপরিকর।

3. 083 kg Brown Sugar Seized ll 04 Arrested ll Malda District Police

On 23.07.2026, Gazole PS received credible source information about the procurement and sale of Brown Sugar (Heroin). Acting on the information, a police team conducted raid at a rented house in Shikshakpally Village under Gazole PS and detained four persons.

The arrested persons are:

1. Chaitan Singh (22), S/o Suren Singh

2. Sasti Singh (29), S/o Suren Singh

3. Pintu Kumar Singh (31), S/o Suren Singh — all residents of Chilamara, Farakka, Murshidabad

4. Sonu Kumar (23), S/o Harilal Ram — resident of Gosalachak Belhaghat, Madhepura, Bihar

During search, police recovered and seized 3.083 Kg of brown-coloured powder suspected to be Brown Sugar (Heroin) from their possession.

All four accused were arrested, and a case has been registered at Gazole PS under the relevant sections of law. They have been remanded to police custody for further investigation.
