About Police Station
In the year 1680, English Bazar Town was formed though there was not any Govt. Record in this regard. There was no demarcation of this Malda District. In the year 1876 to 1905, this district was included in Bhagalpur Division. Later it converted to Rajsahi Division. The British tried to convert English Bazar as Inglejadabad. They were not succeed. At the time of formation of this district English Bazar was Sadar town and it was included in Bholahat Thana.
